Syzzic

“Mud Elves”

Another aquatic elf type, the Syzzic people live near muddy river mouths, in brackish backwaters and swamps, or sometimes in shallow rice paddies. They look more like slimy, mud-covered beast-folk than any kind of elf. Their skin is slick, like a catfish, and they have mottled gray or muddled pinkish-brown complexions with webbed hands and feet. If they have any hair at all, it is typically thin and stringy, but often they are bald and hairless.  Their teeth are like a shark’s: triangular and sharp. Their ears are long and very pointed, though they often flop down. They are not particularly tall, rarely reaching a height of even five feet. Syzzics are widely considered to be the ugliest of all elves.
