Ectember

“Spirit Elves”

The Ectember have a strong connection to the ethereal realm.  They always have colorless gray skin, though these may be in various shades of light and dark. Otherwise, they appear much like humans with slightly pointed ears, at least until they demonstrate their unique abilities.

When they crossed The Üllbridge into Sennzia, the Ectember brought with them the exciting and universal holiday of Aethernacht. Celebration of Aethernacht quickly caught on among non-Ectember as well. It is easy to see why with fun traditions such as decorating a tree with memory ornaments of lost loved ones, the lantern procession where songs are sung in the winter night to honor lost loved ones and the delicious and decadent Aetherfeast.

Other Ectember holidays and rituals exist, but Aethernacht is something special that Lydian elves, Annokwi elves, Autumnal elves and many others have adopted. The celebration of one’s ancestors and heritage is something all elves can inherently appreciate.
