The dominant creature in Sennzia is undoubtedly the fairy. Fairies are approximately the same height as humans and commonly have insect-like wings. Beyond that, though, fairies come in all colors, shapes, textures and variations. Some appear almost human apart from their wings. Others have bug-like faces, antennae or other unusual characteristics. Each fairy is unique, based on the imagination of the child who wished them into existence.

Perhaps greater in number and yet also somehow less common than fairies, are the pixies. Pixies are like tiny fairies that could fit in the palm of your hand. They are usually about as tall as the width of a human hand. Even the largest, most gigantic pixies are rarely any taller than the length of a butter knife. Pixies are vast in number, but are also tiny, secretive and easily overlooked. You might only ever know a pixie was nearby if you happen to see the pixie dust that shakes off them as they fly. The pixie dust they leave behind has a vast number of uses, especially to one familiar with hexcraft.

Of course, elves are also common in the realm, as are brownies, goblins, satyr, centaurs, boggarts and others. Slightly less common, but still easily located, are hags, dryads, nymphs, merfolk, changelings, and many more. A host of sentient reptilian creatures can be found throughout Sennzia. A race of vine-folk called the Tharlexi have created a city of their own called Timbervine. An entire population of infected lycanthropes have been quarantined in The Heap. A large number of Pesceans (fish-folk) also make their home in the waters of the realm. Finally there are the cave-dwelling Argen, who are much larger than pixies but smaller than fairies or elves. The Argen consider themselves “just right” and are known to appreciate moderation in all things. Then, there are Toonfolk, who are sentient, two-dimensional art creatures, and the Pacivi, who are sentient doll constructs filled with stuffing.

Nearly any type of creature that has returned from the dead may find themselves eligible for citizenship in Halmatia, the land of free ghouls. The waters around Halmatia are also considered a safe haven for undead mermaids, ghost ships and other souls lost at sea.
