Yuannim Hallthunder

Outside of the crown, there is another power growing in Yarsar. The worship of Arkollah has gained popularity since the start of the Yarsarian-Greenway War, as elves look for hope in hard times. Introduced by a prophet named Thartico around 1200 years ago, it was previously only practiced in small barns converted into makeshift places of worship.

In the last 50 years or so, however, the Thartican Church, as it is called, has exploded in popularity. The catalyst for the church’s recent success is almost certainly Archbishop Yuannim Hallthunder, the highest-ranking church official in Sennzia.

Yuannim gets his name for his thundering sermons, which echo through the vast halls of the ever-expanding Thartican Cathedral in Yarsar. Yuannim has adopted the popular holidays of the Ectember elves, such as Aethernacht, and embraced local Yarsarian customs. In so doing, he has convinced many nobles that the eternal grace they will receive in the Aether is worth the paltry cost of a weekly donation.

The Thartican Church is a monotheistic religion worshiping a being called Arkollah. Arkollah’s prophet, Thartico, arrived in Yarsaria just after it gained independence from Sennzia.
