Teacher of the Year

Jane Crumpny was recently honored with the Halmatian Teacher of the Year Award for her work as a schoolteacher at the Liberot School for Ghoulchildren.

Ghoul brains do not continue to grow and advance as a living creature’s brain does. Children who transform into ghouls will remain children forever and can revert to a feral state without diligent care and attention. Jane Crumpny excels at keeping each of her students’ minds sharp as can be, despite their inability to develop new long-term knowledge or skills.

These children will never grow up and will always remain underdeveloped and childlike. With ongoing education, however, they can lead a productive existence. Jane has always loved children and has dedicated her afterlife to improving the existence of those unfortunate children infected with ghoulism.
