Aadrika SoorySaadhak

Lannanel’s governor, an Ambrosian elf woman named Aadrika SoorySaadhak, was appointed by King Ulmond because of her exemplary service to the crown in a diplomatic matter of a very sensitive nature with the Queendom. King Ulmond trusts her, and that is rare enough, but apparently even Queen Jillian likes the governor. Lannanel is the elves’ most important trading hub, and having a governor whom both the Argen King of Yarsaria and the Queen of Sennzia approve of serves the city well.

From the moment the sun rises and all through the daylight hours, Aadrika is 100% business. She has a strict policy, however, that no business or political matters are to ever be discussed after sunset. When the sun goes down, Aadrika’s time is her own and it is to be spent exclusively on either relaxation, entertainment or socializing.

Aadrika is known to host lavish, music-filled parties and social gatherings of all sorts in the evening. Anyone who promotes a political or business agenda during these events is arrested and forcefully removed from the premises. They will not be invited to any future gatherings.

Those who can manage to put their work talk on hold until the next day will enjoy all manner of fey entertainment that can carry on until the wee hours of the morning. As an Ambrosian, Aadrika does not sleep, so she enjoys herself all night until it is time to work again the next day. The flip side to Aadrika’s rules, of course, are that anything that happens in the evening is likewise never discussed during business hours.

Aadrika’s rules are much more than simply guidelines. Attendees are expected to sign a fey contract which clearly states the terms they are attending under. Once signed, there is no way to break the contract without violating fey law and being brought before a fairy court.
